First off, yes i did read the sticky and compared the statistics there to both of these computers, but im looking for a bit more advice.

I am planning on buying a laptop, and I had these two in mind.

Gateway T-1628 and the Gateway M-6750

Which one is better and why, they both met standards except the Gateway M-6750 had an intel graphics card, where the sticky required a Nvidia or a Radeon. They both have 3g ddr2's, the T has an AMD Turion™ 64 X2 Dual-Core Mobile Technology TL-60, and a ATI Radeon X1270. The M-6750 has 3g ddr2, an Intel Centrino Core™ 2 Duo Processor T5450, but what worries me is the vid card, a Intel® Graphics Media Accelerator X3100.

What are your opinions?

Intel only makes Graphic Deccelerators.

Seriously, they suck. If you EVER plan to game anything more than Snood or Diablo 1, make sure it has a real video card and not junk.

If it had to be one of these two, go for the T-1628. The Radeon, while not being the best or even average amongst its fellow Radeon brothers, still beats the 'pleasant' experience you get with Intel intergrated.

Ok, well... what other laptops are out there for around the same price that will perform? And also, can i just replace the vid card in the T model?

can you replace the videocard? i dont think so. it says chipset--not videocard.

i think at your price range, you should just forget great performance, or lower your graphics.

anyway, i would suggest looking for a laptop with an actual videocard, or a desktop. good luck. they're slightly new and may cost you.

Ok, well I'm ok with so so performance, as long as I can move around in the major cities I'm ok. But if you could give me some suggestions for laptops I'd be very grateful.
