In a few WSG battles recently members of the opposing team have taken the captured flag onto the huge tree stump on the west hand side. To get there requires a lot of jumping and is quite difficult - I was just wondering if this is a legitimate tactic or an exploit?

If it works, use it.

But I can see that as a disadvantage too. Love to see them Feared right off the stump. lol

I'll have to look for it next time I''m in there.

Wall climbing is an exploit and i think they fixed most of them in WSG.
the tree stump is not too hard to get up, every time the allies get up there we get our flag back. I dont think fearing them would cause them to fall off, as it seems fearing wont drop u off other edges e.g. LM in AB.

how ever i have noticed the allies can get on the roof of their tunnel then walk of backwards and fall to the second lvl and hide in there. you cant see them until the flag units are visible on the minimap. this is perhaps more of an exploit.

Yeah, you are probably right about Fear.

fear won't do anything except buy a little time. any disorient/fear effect will not run you off a ledge.

can you get close enough for a priest to mind control them?

would be fun to make them jump right in the middle of a bunch of opponents :-)
