Sound issues

My sound works fine for Windows Media Player, and for a Age of Empires 3 but I have no sound when I log into to play WoW. I have checked the sound options in WoW and everything seems to be working fine. Anyone know what I am missing?
I have the Logitech s120 2.0 Stereo Speaker system with all the updated/current drivers.

Maybe I am missing something, but what is your sound card?

I am using the onboard sound device built into the motherboard which displays as Realtek HD Audio Manager on my Windows tray in the lower right hand corner. Isn't that all I need or do I need to go grab a sound a card?

yes, and you've gone to your motherboard site and updated those drivers?

WOW I feel like a real putz. I should have done that too. Man it has been one of those kind of weeks. Thanks JS Child. I will do that first.

Well all my drivers are up to date and everything seems to be configured the way it should be work. Hmmm. I am dumbfounded.

Hmmm, have to wait for Kalos then, not sure what the issue is. THe volume isn't turned all the way down in the game settings is it? (not Windows, but the actual game).

Well I was checking the volume level and I notice the game output device was set for digital and not the HD I was using. *hits myself in the head* :duh:
