View Full Version : AV Tea Bagging Ritual

Recently I was in AV doing my normal sniping duties while defending a bunker and I saw a lone Horde Rogue approaching the bunker. With the battle well in hand and a win pretty much wrapped up, I decided to pursue him and take him out for the hell of it. Unfortunately, he stealthed on me and before I could get a trap down and fire a flare he ganked me. After a close fight and a near double death draw, he burned me down. What happened next almost had me in tears laughing and caused beer to come out my nose (which really burns I might add). I chose not to rez immediately because they only had about 10 reinforcements left. As I am sitting at my keyboard drinking my beer and awaiting victory, I watched in utter disbelief as the Rogue positioned his lower body over the head of my corpse and begin to squat repeatedly over my head in a rapid motion. It then occured to me that I had fallen victim to some warped tea bagging ritual that I had never witnessed before. I lost it. I have never laughed so hard while playing WOW before!! Anyone else experience this phenomenon while in BGs? Feel free to share any similar funny rituals if you got any.

I do this all the time if they don't release...or if I completely obliterated em.
Also in my old guild if anyone died on pulls the 20+ of us would all teabag em =)

OMG that's hilarious. I had to look up tea-bagging, but once I did, !!! ...omg...
What a bizarre thing to do. I guess given the number of WoW players, it had to happen eventually. What next?

It could have just been an Undead rogue using cannibalize? I do believe that animation has you bouncing/squatting over a corpse iirc?

I don’t think I will ever be able to enjoy a cup of tea again, now the word tea bag has been tainted.

It's really common in FPS's; specifically CS.

Try halo 2-3, everyone is a "lil T-bagger" there. Gotta say, sometimes it's hilarious, but sometimes people use it when they're just playing, which is annoying. Real t-baggers only do it in a case of "pure ownage", like taking out 4-5 guys on your own. Times like when not to do it, is when you get killed repeatadly and kill someone that is low on health already, doing it then is considered "noob". Why am I telling you all this, I don't know, I guess I just play Halo too much

wow..I'm surprised that this comes as a surprise to you! Perhaps my server is filled with 10 year olds? (no offense Richakin). I not only see this alot but have had this happen to me as pretty commonplace while leveling up after being ganked. I personally prefer not to partake in this form of belittlement mainly because my wiping the floor with the other faction usually says all I need to say. At most I typically will just lol them and either wink or blow a kiss at them.

I must admit i have not seen or heard of this before ( never played Halo).
The worst i do is blow a kiss then give them a hug.
Maybe on the odd occasion, if i have taken out multiples, is to stand in the middle of the corpses and /flex

Out of curiosity, what would the female equivilent of this phenomenon be called? "Trout mashing" maybe?

This seems to be common place on my server. The healers i raid with Tea bag you before rezing you if you pulled aggro and got yourself killed, or wandered off and die.
There is no emote for it. you just sit and stand repeatedly over thier face. It looks especially convincing if done on a troll.

That one got a legitimate LOL. The other people in my cubical wanted to know what was funny. I decided it was best not to share.

That depends on the game, I think - for example, I believe that MGS community uses the term "taco bopping".
