Hey everyone,
Not sure if I can post that here so let me know if I'm in the wrong place.
Now on my topic: As a (little) contribution to the WoW Community, I have developed a Facebook application for any WoW gamers willing to show their geekness to the whole world ;)
The application is named WoWBook (http://www.new.facebook.com/apps/application.php?id=68320540593) and essentially it works like a bridge between the real you and your characters. Currently WoWBook (http://www.new.facebook.com/apps/application.php?id=68320540593)allows you to:
Import automatically your characters from WoW to Facebook.
To display your characters in your FB profile or boxes page.
Get closer to your online buddies. See your guildmates 'face-to-face', add them to your friends and learn more about them.
Search for players around the world or in your local area. You can filter your research by country, state, city, or realm, guilds, etc.
Fully translated in English and French. German coming soon.
And with the upcoming updates you'll be able to:
Automatically track and show your PvE progression for your characters (i.e. what instance did you beat).
Display your equipment.
Follow your Friends and Guildmates progressions, such as level gains, reputations gains, tradeskills, accomplishments, etc. Eventually, the 'tracker' will be available in RSS so you'll be able to plug it in any website (guild site, personal blog, ..)
And more...
All and all, the reason I'm developing WoWBook (http://www.new.facebook.com/apps/application.php?id=68320540593)is to allow players to get closer to their online buddies and/or guildmates, after all, behind each characters there is a real person (really!) worth knowing ;)
Anyways, if you feel like it, give it a try and don't hesitate to give me your feedback. There are still a few things that I need to iron out, the application is still very young, only 3 weeks old but we are already more that 700 players from around the world and than 1'300 characters imported.
To start using it in your Facebook, simply click go the WoWBook about page (http://www.new.facebook.com/apps/application.php?id=68320540593) and click on the "Go to Application" button to your right. That's it! Of course WoWBook is 100% free AND commercial free.
And here's some pictures of the actual application:

Thanks for reading ;)
Cheers
