I'm a Druid and I've noticed that it is typical for items from vendors and other displays of items will show wares in red which a class or level can't use. For a Druid all plate and mail armor is displayed in red because a Druid can't use them. However I notice at vendors that arrows and cartridges aren't red but Druids cant use bows or guns so I was just wondering why they don't show up red?
I know it's a trivial question, but I can't stop wondering. Thanx.

well... the bullets and arrows are useless without the weapons. and you dont really "equip" the bullets.

Bullets and arrows don't have a specific requirement that could be used to tag an item as unusable. If you look at the tooltip of an item that you can't use, there will be a label that's coloured in red; this is the reason why you can't equip such an item. Plate is labelled 'plate'. Weapons are labelled 'polearm', 'fist, 'off-hand' or 'two-hand'. The 'plate' label, for instance, is blocked for any class except warriors and paladins. Bullets and arrows don't have such a label, so they can't be barred for certain classes and thus appear to be accessible to everyone.
