how do I select multiple targets ? aside from having to tab though each one and cast doT on them one at a time. I send in my VW to tank and he gets mobbed by 3-4 enemy at once..how can I target the entire group?

noob question I'm sure but I cant seem to find the answer and it would help a whole lot to be able to target a group instead of individuals

AOE dotting...I love it! You think there's a lot of complaining about locks being OP now? I can only imagine the QQing.

Simple answer is you can't. Tab-target is your only option. The VW should hold aggro well enough that you can get dots up on all the mobs without too much trouble anyway.

well thats a real PITA...sometimes it just really hard to tell which target you're on when they're all up on the VW. Would make life alot simpler to be able to select all of them in that little area around the tank instead of trying to select each one individually.

thanks, I just thought I was missing something.

FWIW at lvl 24 my lock is in no way shape or form OP

oh that would be joy. leveling would be a breeze. but alas... no such feature. tab target single target. such is life.

but hey... i can do it very well. in fact my lock can keep lotsa mobs on him constantly, all dotted up, and without losing much health. gotta love it.

Wasn't there a spell or talent on the Beta that was basically an AoE corruption?

There is Seed of Corruption a ... L60+(?) spell that puts a dot on one target and when that target has gotten xxx damage it does an AoE explosion for yyy damage. That's the closest thing I know of...

True, but that was in TBC. What I'm thinking of was part of the WotLK alpha or beta, probably didn't survive (it and several other "interesting" things that were too hard to implement well or balance, just part of normal development cycles, really). I thought it might be a bit imbalanced when I read about it, just because of the number of nightfall procs you'd get off having several corruptions ticking would be insane.

Haunt I believe was supposed to affect multiple targets carrying a "haunt" effect to them.
