Is There Some Sort Of Quest Marker In WoW?

I just purchased WoW and have been doing some quests, but was just wondering if there was any type of quest marker which tells you which way to go, e.g. an arrow or something on the minimap?

yes. this is done via addons. but if you read the quest text, you should never be lost. unless, sometimes, like me, you confuse east for west.

If you want some help with the quests I think QuestHelper is a great addon. If you want something a little different, Lightheaded with TomTom is also great.
