Due to a series of uncalculated events I have a a horde character and and alliance character on the same PVP server and I am wondering if this is common or is it very rare?

I didn't think that was possible on a PVP realm.

Might help if you explain these uncalculated events ;)

"uncalculated" ?
You logged on one day and magically you had an extra character of opposing facton on your account ?

I haven't heard of any Normal or RP servers that were changed to PvP, so I'm guessing Blizzard moved one of your alts from another server to the one you already had opposite faction on. The question is, did they do it without your knowledge or did you get to pick the server ?

Yeah, I'd also like to know the circumstances in which this happened, and no, I have never heard of it happening before, so I'd guess it's pretty rare. A screenshot would be nice too.

I don't think I can prove that 2 factions are on the same server with one account using screenshots cuz it can be easily faked plus I am not willing to give out my account info so I'll try to figure something out.

When I say uncalculated I'm being sarcastic because I don't want to tell you guys what I did its a secret:laugh: especially if noone else has ever done this before.

I'll try to figure something out.

Why don't you just start with explaining the circumstances in which this occurred?

Was it related to a paid alt transfer? A forced server relocation on Blizzard's part? Were you able just to roll opposing factions on the PvP server you were always on?

Surely you can give us those details without giving away your account info.

....Well then why did you start the post in the first place? No one here can really offer you an oppinion "if it's common or rare" if you won't say what happened.

1. No it wasn't any of those things, all I will tell you is that it's something pretty simple but it's kinda crazy and something the average wow player wouldn't be willing to do.

2.no no no you see I can figure out if its rare to have a double factioned pvp account without telling you how I did it..

So......what are you actually talking about then?

Come on, give us a clue or are you just talking nonsense?

At this point I think he's talking nonsense, or...he did something shadey.

One way I can think of is to start with only 1 alt on a server, then delete your character and ticket a GM to get it replaced. (Either saying you deleted by accident or your account was hacked and the hacker deleted it.) Meanwhile, BEFORE Blizzard can restore your character, you roll a second one on the opposing faction and hope they don't notice that when they do your restore.

I did some searching and there are approximately 2360 people on my server who did this. Also, I checked 5 other servers and found they average about 1800 players each on those PvP servers who did it. So...No, it's not rare.
I can't tell you their names or what servers I checked or even the method I used though.....because that stuff is all "secret".
But then, you only wanted to know if it was rare or not.
The answer is...NOT.

delete all your characters.
make one of another faction.
make a ticket to gm for accidental deletion.

i kinda dont really care.

this guy is correct and so is kodonn, I guess its not that rare at all then if that many people know about it and did it.

Theres only one thing I wasn't trying to do anything shady, this all happned by accident I asked the Gm to restore the gold that I forgot about from my deleted horde characters and send it to my new alliance characters but instead they just restored back the whole chracter thinking I had just deleted them by accident even though i had 3 alliance chars already >.>

And your gold is just as stuck :)
