Hiya. I'm a returning player to WoW. Haven't played for a long while now.
Today I bought my new account. But I still haven't made a character...
This is because I need some help.

My problem with MMO's is that I always feel bored and 'lonely' when playing.
I can never find or make friends on WoW. Don't know why, because I'm a pretty social person. :p Maybe cause I'm shy? xD

Anyway, here's my request.
I'm looking for a person, or a group of people or even a guild who like to play together a lot, who want to play together with me. Please take notice that I still have to create my character so it'll be a very low level, but I can catch up quickly. :) If you're interested, just tell me what server and your name and I'll contact you in game. Or you can send me an email or add me to msn on:
psychic.elephant@gmail.com

PS: I'm on the european servers!

Agreed. Maybe one of the mods will kindly edit the post for you and have people drop you a PM here. At the least when posting your address in the future, write it as "psychic*dot*elephant*at*gmail*dot*com". This will stop (most) automated programs from grabbing it and spamming you.

Shy? In an MMO?

Come on man! This is alter ego time... no time to be shy.

Your alter ego can be all the things you don't feel the RL you is - Extroverted, brash, a leader and whatever else you fancy.

My advice is to find a realm with a decent population of people who speak your language. Find a Guild who is recruiting or simply offer your services emphasising your commitment to the game and to any potential Guild willing to have you.

Once you've got your foot in the door (can see guild chat) start chipping in. You don't have to be pumping out witty anecdotes 24/7, just remind folks that you're there rather than sitting in the background without saying anything.

Sort out voice comms like Skype or something and invite people who you regularly group with to join you in the interests of being a slicker team.

Just try not to be a tit who thinks the height of comedy is to do a 'Leroy'.... repeatedly. :P

Good luck and have fun!
