Clearing Talent Tree

Hi i'm new to the game and people talk about it all the time, Where can I go to get my character's Talent Tree cleared? I messed up and wanna know so please help!

talk to your class trainer youll find the option there.

Your class trainer will give you two options:

I wish to learn my <class> skills.
I wish to unlearn my skills.

Choose the lower one. The price increases everytime you do it, and depending on your character's current level, may not be worth it.

or you can wait until the next patch. I think all chars get their talents reset for free.

When is the next patch though. Do in need to get the expansion for the next patch?

Next patch will be in the next few weeks. The patch is separate from the expansion pack.

That is, everyone who is playing wow will have to install the patch before they can log on. The expansion is totally optional.

Yeah, when the patch comes out (15th October is the latest date set) all talent trees will be reset, whether you want it or not. The thing is, that the talent trees will all have changed so much that it's not feasible to let people keep the talents they had chosen - you might end up with a skewed tree, because they moved your last talent down a tier or two..
