Hi all,

Doing pvp and bg's, rogues can be super tough (I have a lock). They have that vanish and cloak of shadows (I think that takes off my dots). I mean if I can see them, I don't do to bad, but when I get caugh from a stealth attack, ouch.

Anyway, I been thinking of rolling an alt (ok I could go rogue but I like ranged classes a little more) and it got me thinking. I was wondering what class does good against rogues. Ok all I know it's the player when it all comes down to it, but I am sure some classes match up better when fighting certain classes.

So what class gives rogues troble say strait up? What class has a chance to survive when caught by surprise.

Thanks.

pretty much any class that can keep them away from them, ie Mages, Warriors also piss rogues off alot :D

I think the most important question hasn't been asked yet. Do you have any specific level in mind? Is this for twink BG, lvl 70, someting in beteen, whatever?

On my rogue few casters give me problems. However, druids, paladins and and a well played disc priest can all give me hell. Hunters are about 50/50. And I won't go near a lock with his felpuppy out if I can avoid it. But really the druids and pallys have to be the biggest pain.

High armor classes make a mockery of your burst.

You need to survive some burst as a sub rogue has more moves than any other class in any specc. I'd say high armor as well as for any edge against rogues.

Sub rogues really are having their 15 minutes now and they don't have any natural enemies apart from maybe warriors in the higher brackets.

Just wondering, why not a lock and is fell pup? I mean if u are close enough to the lock, even if he spots u, dont u still get a few hacks on him?
