What does this mean? I was talking to a guildmate getting some advice on levelling a ret pally and he advised getting a biiiig slow 2 hander because you only "proc" 7x a minute or something like that. What does that mean?

Also Proc is used in this thread below and I have no idea what it means.

Or, if you don't want to go to WoWWiki (For some reason)...

A proc is something that is "chance on hit" or "chance on being hit" or "chance on spell hit" or things like that. For example, Seal of Command is what that guy was talking about, and it just simply works better with big weapons because higher hits and it FEELS like it lands more often, even though it doesn't.
