Outland and Armor help?

I think this where to put this question.

Well i roll mage, currently 43. Still a while till i'm 58. However the question i'm wondering is
Should i Get full 60 PVP armor at 60? I heard its great armour to use to near 70 and you hardly have to replace most of it.
Or am i just wasting my time/honour.

You are wasting your time/honor getting lvl 60 pvp gear.

You're wasting your time pvping now anyway, seeing as how all honour points will be gone when WotLK hits. If you had been close to hitting 70 then it might've been worth it, but considering that you're stil 43.. just don't bother. If you do pvp, just do it for fun and/or practice, but don't start gathering up honour points if you're only going to lose them by the time you spend them.

They did reverse the decision. Points won't be reset but saving them until 80 will certainly be a waste as they are going to increase prices. Saving them until 70 isn't such a horrible idea, but buying 60 gear is a waste.

it depends on how fast you want to level. if you wanna take things slow, it may be a good idea to get pvp items for lvl 70. if you wanna get to 80 as fast as possible and start raiding, every bit helps, so save the points for lvl 80.

The absolute most I would recommend while leveilng is PvP a bit every day in AV once you hit 61 and do the daily. That way, you should have enough honor to get the S2 weapon as soon as you hit 70. That should last you till close till 80 easily.

Just remember vantage nobody here has said the lvl 60 pvp gear is worth your time (I agree on the weapon upgrade, good call jschild)

Everything TBC > pre-TBC as regards to armour, without a doubt. You'll spend valuble leveling time (if you haven't heard WotLK is coming next month(!!)) to grind honor at a frustrating level bracket to get mediocre rewards.
