Concerning the version number of the game:
I bought my disks from the local PC store (WOW and the BC expansion) and after installing both dvds I am still only on version 2.3.0. Is this correct?
Im asking because patch 3.something looks like it is 3.9GB
Was this patch released after BC? Im a little annoyed as it looks as if my idea of buying the disks to cut down on downloading hasn't worked :(
I would log into the offcicial forums and ask, but I need to download the patches, in order to create a toon on my account, in order to be able to post on the 'newcomer' forums. Which is a bit ****ing stupid in and of its self.
One further question, it seems that the EU sites are unavailable at the moment while Blizzard patches something or other. Is this stupidity (taking servers down during prime playing time for that region) something that I can expect a lot of from Blizzard?
