Unable to log into WoW official site/forums

I enter my account name and password, but get the message "login error" when trying to log in on the forums page. When I try to log on elsewhere on the site, I get a message that my username or password is invalid. I can log into the game with no problems. Do I have to create a separate account for the site and forums or something?

I think I saw the EU site was having issues recently.

Yeah, but this isn't recently, it's been happening for a few months at least. I can't remember for sure if I've ever been able to log in - I think I have, but it was long ago.

I have no idea what for - I have never posted on the official forums or done much at all on the site, and I'm definitely not banned from the game.

I have the same problem, I thought it was just because my account wasn't active. I can login to the game and to my account page just fine, but the forums have been a no go for the last year.

Your world of warcraft account is linked to both the website and the game. If you are US, you might be trying to log into EU. If you are EU you might be trying to log into the US website. Make sure that you go to the correct website.
