I have been debating to reactivate my account. I do know that if I come back I will either transfer my 70 warrior from a PVE server to a different one, or just start from sratch. I have been out of the game for about 5 months and was just curious about classes and starting over. Any comments would be helpful.
Classes I know I do not want to play are Paladin, Warrior again, Shaman and probably not druid. Someone just help me out with the others. Thanks.

well if you reactivate you will be able to go straight on to Northrend along with everyone else and it will all be new to a lot of people.
warriors have had some interesting changes. You'll be able to respec as soon as you log on for free (actually you'll have to--everyone got their talents reset in the last patch)

Alot of things have changed with the 3.0 patch. all the classes specs have been totally rearanged. So i suggest you get back on, look at the toons you already have and their new specs first. see if you like what can be done with them. say give it a week, then if your still not happy, start fresh.
If you do start over, then it reallt comes down to (in my little opinion) do you like to stand back and kill stuff or get into the mix of it. (side note stand back do you like to have a pet to help you?)
Mix of things: Rouge
Stand back with a pet: Warlock for the challenge
Stand back without pet: Mage

Yeah, there's too much for a simple post to summarize. You should read about Wrath on Wowwiki, here and elsewhere for the info - like any expansion a LOT is changing.
Or just reactivate and see if you like it. If not, quit again.
I've had a lot of fun leveling a Rogue. I also really like Hunters because of the pet.

Hmm, have to think about it. Pretty must put ALL of my time into my warrior. Just wanted something different. Playing Warhammer for the PVP now, but I dont know how long that will last. Just is a big decision.

I am currently playing a Druid. I love the character! They are very fun to play especially if you are Feral. I would stick with the Warrior since they take a high role in raids. Just learn how to become a good tank and start getting gear, get ready for the expansion!

I'm in the same dilemma. I used to play up until April 2008 on my Shadow Priest who raided up to SSC/TK, so I've got pretty good gear.
I don't have any commitments now like college as I have finished this summer, and I'm working now. All this news of the new expansion of updates really wants to make me play again, I kinda miss the whole leveling thing, it will make a change from the raid schedules and will allow me to make less commitments to the guild.
Ahh, decisions, decisions...

I've never understood why this is a hard decision. If you want to play again, reactivate your account. Play. If you like it, continue. If not, stop again. Unless the monthly fee/game card is a material amount of money to you, it's not a big decision. Don't overthink it.

my warrior has sat alone and ignoreed since march then with the new patch wow what fun im having. it has a new lease of life. warriors have been boosted so much now its unreal my dps has gone from around 700 to well over 1k as arms war, tanking as arms or fury is now very easy though you suffer big time from lack of rage. prot wars have good aoe now with thunder clap hitting every target in range and they also have a 20 sec cd aoe spell that stunns everything infront of you.
pay for a month and get your war out to play i think you will like it

Interesting to hear the warrior is actually fun again.
