I'll be voting today, in a few hours actually. I'll be voting for Obama as it is my opinion that we need his charisma and other qualities at this time. It is my opinion that McCain is a good man but now is not his time.

I don't care who you vote for but please go vote. Exercise your right!

I'm genuinely glad that I can't vote in this.

What totally amazes me is that a candidate would tell the elctorate "I'm just like you - vote for me". I don't want politicians that are like me. I want politicians that are smarter than me, who can do stuff I can't do, while maintaining honesty and integrity.

I pity those of you who have the right to vote today - you can only make the wrong decision.

We don't have a right to vote, it's a privilege (Supreme Court said so). I do plan on taking advantage of that privilege. I don't look forward to 1-2 hour waits with my two daughters (both under 4 years old)

I just voted! The place was packed with lots of energy in the air.

It went very smoothly.

Thank you elderly people who take the time to volunteer!

I just got back from the polls myself. :) The joy of living in a very small (828 pop) town is that I never have to wait long.

Through my astute powers of deductive reasoning, a boring morning at work, and the magic of google, I guess you live near a crystal lake...

(There are actually a surprising number of towns with the exact population of 828 even in Wisconsin. That's how bored I am right now.)

5 min to vote for me. Just go out a do it though. I'd wait 8 hours if I had to.

Doesn't matter who you vote for, just go out and do it.

Polls opened at 06:00. I got there at 06:05 and cast my ballot at 06:50. My town has ~45k people (not sure what the voting pop is, but i'd imagine 60%+) and 12 precincts. I'm glad I live in Connecticut. I can't imagine what the lines are like in the swing states.

My name is Clevins and I approve this message.

Seriously, go vote if you are in the US and registered to vote. If you don't, then please don't complain about anything - if you can't take an hour or so to cast your vote in a major election, I don't want to hear about your opinions later.

Just under 2 hours to cast my ballot. That is about an hour and a half longer than it's ever taken me before. Interesting times indeed. Either my current state is just ballz at running elections or my previous state was too damn wasteful with too many polling places.

Had at least one idiot in line who couldn't understand why she had to register to actually vote. My precinct had a surprising mix of old and young volunteers. Either way it goes the United States will have a first:
Either the first American P.O.W. to be elected to president.
---OR---
The first VP widower single parent who commuted by train during his tenure in the Senate.
Although I think there was some mention of some more memorable and significant firsts as regards race and gender

Yeah my vote may not count for much (democrats do not fare well in this red state) but it still counts. I do like my republican represenative(go Hall) and am very glad that obama one. I am sure that I will hat him and his &**&% liberal policies in 6 monthsths but a left turn is necessary right now.
