No Operating System, press key. Five little words, two punctuation marks.
Several hours of oh im so mad i could drop kick my computer to the moon.
Reinstall Windows, easy. Reinstall World of Warcraft, anything but. I have the five CD version that Blizzard inflicted upon us rather than the newer, shinier single DVD version that later adopters get to play with. It is still running and once it is done I have to install Burning Crusade, which is the older, uglier several CD version as well!!!! AWW!. I have a question, could I just get myself a newer Battlechest edition of the first two games without changing my CD key, or would I have to use the new one with my current account details, or am I totally knackered?

you can. just ask around and you'll find someone online selling their old disk. i wouldnt pay more than $10 for it though. amazon? half? ebay?

granted, you wont get it until next week probably... so hey... sorry. sometimes... ish happens.

oh and... always backup your stuff.

Yeah you can install it from any disk The account is kept on blizzard server. we have seven or eight folks playing at the pit I play in and only keep 4 or 5 copies as back ups. I wish wrath was dowloadable there are goiing to be too many floating disk and I hate just throwing them away. Good luck. You could troll the official forums and see if there is a player nearby who would meet up and loan you a copy stranger things have happened.

I believe you can copy all those CD's onto one DVD and it will install fine (there might be some tweaking needed but I don't remember). Again, that won't help you right now but in the future you'll be golden. I'm in even worse shape, lol. I don't have any disks at all I used a friend's to install with a 10-day trial.
