BC account login on Wrath install

Can I install Wrath on my computer and still play on BC accounts from that client? Or do I then need a BC install plus a Wrath to play both?

I'm pretty sure WotLK is just an addition to BC. So in theory you should still be able to play with BC accounts, just without access to Northrend and Leveling past 70.

I know you can play the game without Wrath expansion installed and with a BC account, but I believe I heard when BC came out that it was not possible. They might have changed that, I don't know.

I installed wrath from the direct downloader last night and can still play all my chars. I don't have my wrath upgrade codes yet as the boxes haven't arrived. So the death knight create button is grayed out and I can't go to northrend yet, but everything else works fine.

If I understand your question, yes you can play BC accounts on a wrath install. It is all the same game just the levels of access that are different.

Yes Same with BC you can play on a WOTLK install, just if you try to go somewhere you wouldnt normally be able to it will give you an error in red text like the already casting type errors.
