tried to look everywhere ?

label on the dvd/cd's
label on the inside of the cover
label on some of the leaflets that was in the cover
label on the cover itself
some leaflet in the box

i very much doubt that the key would be visible from outside the box, but still worth a check

i just wish that gls would get their a** in gear and come by with my copy of the expansion :/

Ive looked inside every book, on every page, looked on every CD, front and back, every CD Case, front and back, Emptied the case, went through all the Trading card games to see if it was in there somewhere, not on the outside of the box :(

Sounds like odd advice but it worked when I was looking for my passport - get somebody else to check. Sometimes in our excitement/panic (in my case) we just can't see it. I spent six hours looking for my passport and checked an envelope over 12 times and couldn't find it. My brother woke up and checked said envelope and found it - took him less than a minute! I felt like a fool but was relieved!

I frequently have this problem... you're looking for something, keep checking the same spot but can't find it, only to find it was right in front of your eyes the entire time, like your eyes skip over the item over and over again.

Frustrating!

Assuming you checked there, but my CE key was on a sticker stuck to the outside of the game DVD.

Mine was on a sticker along the binding of the manual in the CD case.

Hope you get it sorted out...

Anyone else think it's odd that the Codes are in such different places?

not really. Its where ever I think the person wanted to put it. They probably hid it to be a prick in some.. lol

No, I had the problem with WoW and BC. Four games altogether, four stickers for codes in four different places.

Perhaps, I should have stated more clearly:

Does anyone else think it's odd that there is no standard place for codes to be - enabling Blizzard to say "You will find your code attached to ____"?

i would assume they put it all in the same place!

for all of my copies they have always been on a disk cover.

Same here. Three copies and all three keys were in the same place.

I do think it's odd and thought it both odd and maddening first two I opened when putting in WoW and BC. But now my slightly cunning brain has adapted and when installing a Blizzard product, thinks 'Aha, and here we go again, playing 'hide the key code' 'so I'm prepared.
