Hi all,

I currently use Itempricetooltip to show me the vendor prices of all items (or almost all).

I noticed last night that it is not displaying the prices for the WOTLK items and wondered if there's another mod that does the same thing? Cheers

Something in the Auctioneer addon does this. I'm not sure which one it is though. I'm also not sure if it will handle the new lich king stuff. You might have to wait until they update their mods.

I think you should just have a little patience, really.. when new content is out, it always takes a bit of time for the addons to gather data such as vendor prices of quest items. I doubt there's an addon that'll have all data from the start, so if you like using Itempricetooltip then there's no reason to try and find something else.

I'm surprised... with a long open beta I would have expected these kinds of mods to be up and running on release day.

Ah well.

The Informant module of Auctioneer can do that ...supposed to be WOTLK ready too.

My Informant mod isn't showing the prices. course don't expect them to have all the stuff. just wanted to point this out

I, also, use ItemPriceTooltip and notice that it still hasn't updated many WOTLK items (Dec 5). It shouldn't take this long, especially to give us the vendor prices of quest reward items. I may have to revert to Informant, as much as I hate to. Is there any other mod out there? I haven't seen one.

This has been bothering me too. However, I've been going with the rule of thumb that I learned from BC: plate rewards are usually worth the most.

Oh yes... if in doubt, pick the big lump of metal ;)

I had the same problems right after 3.0 hit, Norganna changed the default setting of the modules not to show the pricings in the tool tips. You need to manually trun on them showing by going into the configuration menus. It took me a few tries to get it the way i wanted it to but it's working for me now.

Edit:

Go into config tab, then into general tab and set the scan data option to on from there. Then go into each of the module option setting sections (left side of config nav area) and set those as you wish.

If you can see the vendor prices of Azeroth/Outland quest rewards perfectly fine, then it's not something you can change with settings. Try updating to the Beta version of Auctioneer, instead of the official release - when I did so, I found that I could suddenly see the vendor prices of Northrend quest rewards.

Mine works just fine.

Is it possible that iformant isn't running or something...or outdated?

Most likely outdated, but that's probably because of the difference between the released version and the beta version. If Informant weren't running, then you also wouldn't see the vendor prices of all the other quest rewards in Azeroth and Outland. I initially starting messing around with settings as well, before I realised that it did work with all the other bits - when I went to Auctioneer's official site, I saw that the official release was from mid-October.. the beta version was mid-November, postpatch, and did have the data. :)

ItemPrice Tooltip is updated to show most prices in Northrend. I've yet only discovered 2 or 3 (or thereabouts) prices on quest rewards that were not listed.
