True to the original sequels to Star Control 2 and Master of Orion? Sign me up.

If you have never played Star Control 2, easily one of the best games of all time, its open source with full speech now and can be grabbed here (http://sc2.sourceforge.net/downloads.php)

If they do it, I'd buy it in a second. Now if LucasArts would make a new Tie Fighter game I'd be set.

Le Sigh.... I had high hopes for Jedistarfighter or whatever that xbox 360 game was called, but it got such horrible reviews it made me sad. I really want a successor to Xwing vs Tie Fighter.

Anything made for the console will be horrible if you hunger for Tie FIghter. They will not release anything as challenging as that for a console.
