Oliver Postgate R.I.P

Sad news today that Oliver Postgate has died at the age of 83 :(

He was the writer and creator of childrens television programmes such as Bagpuss, The Clangers, Ivor the engine etc.

Rest in peace Oliver, I loved your work.

I grew up in the early 80's and I have a lot of good memories of that time which can always be brought to mind when I think of Bagpuss <3

That's very sad, a wonderful creator of programmes that captured the innocence of childhood perfectly.

Living in a different country and having never seen the show I have nothing but admiration for somebody who could pull off naming a children's show Bagpuss. Seriously, rest in peace...
