Wisdom doesn't live in us

I've done things
that have no other purpose than to be daggers
which were meant only to sink into you

I would forgive
if only it didn't make me look weak

I would want for you to suffer

Wisdom doesn't live in us
No punishment any other way
We won't consent to let go even through our stupidity

When streets crumble below us
The sharp edges can be bent to not hurt our feet
But you can not deny that they haven't
already been broken

Strikes under the belt
more than anywhere else

From thieves to thieves

Wisdom doesn't live in us
No punishment any other way
We can't let go
not even from our own problems

I didn't mean to kill
instead to paralyze permanently
so that every day you'd remember
where you made the mistake concerning me

Wisdom doesn't live in us
No punishment any other way
We won't consent to let go even through our stupidity

Wisdom doesn't live in us
No punishment any other way
We can't let go
not even from our own problems

Ten points to whomever figures out from where it's from.

Viisaus ei asu meissä (Wisdom doesn't dwell in us)

How on earth did you manage to figure it out?

[edit]

Not only do you have to be a hardcore fan to have figured it out but also somehow speak the language, and yet you're in the USA?
(you can't google this one)

Ten points, clarification requested.

A google search of the title of what you posted brings up a translation site that tells you what it is.

Google works in mysterious ways...

even though I use the non native version of google I don't get any hits for translations or anything near it for that matter. I explicitly made it un googleable, or so I thought. :|

[edit]

And now the topic is completely derailed. The point was not to figure out where it was from, that was only a bonus. I'd still like to see other favorable poems...
