When ever i start WoW, it goes to a black screen then goes back to my desktop and an error message pops up that says :

Critical Error 192

There was an error loading the WTF and Cache folders. For saftey reasons, we've automaticaly removed them. New folders will be created once you restart the game. Thank you for understanding.
Blizzard Entertainment.

Now ive repaired WoW, that did nothing. I just finished re-installing, that didn't work either.

It would be great if someone could help me with this,.I am using Windows XP Service Pack 3.

A quick search ("Critical Error 192") brings up an official wow forum page related to keyloggers. Scan your system.

Woah. A triple post inc quoting yourself! Thats gotta be some kind of record.

As for your critical error, I have looked and can't find anything that points me in the right direction. I think you may have to try WoW tech support. I have a feeling it's a connection problem. Maybe you should speak to your ISP?

Haha, I'm pretty sure that first poster with the "same problem" is him too.

Anyways, the only reference to this error seems to be in regards to keyloggers. You say that you've scanned your computer and found a keylogger and removed it.

Chances are that this is what has screwed up your Wow installation. I would recommend completely removing your Wow installation, scanning your system again to ensure that everything is clean, and then re-installing Wow.

Also, you should get in touch with Blizzard accounts and billing to make sure that your account has not been compromised.

Check out the "Computer Security and Maintaince" thread for more security information.

I found solution for that error, launch to WoW and wait for that error, then don't close that error and launch to WoW again.

I would recommend that no one take namm's advice. There is still something wrong that was caused my malware. It needs to be fixed not ignored.

My antivirus (avast) found trojan from windows files and I don't get that error anymore.

You're posting on a thread that is 6 months old - I may be the only person reading it :)
