The following happened (copy of an email I sent to Blizz)

I have contested "Customer Service Forum" and its response to questions which in any other industry is considered Customer Service. Admittly, the more the Forum Game Masters , for want of better wording, 'weaseled' the harsher my critique of them and the forum administration became. It appears that the Customer Service Forum is a farce. In fact, given one posting, I suspect that a GM used an alternate to make a snide remark just prior to the ban.
So in retaliation they have decided to do this. So I take it that Blizzard's Policy is to call tough criticism Trolling or Spamming? One GM response was to call the forum, In-Game Customer Service. Now that is odd, I thought that was what the In-Game help requests, or the on-line http://us.blizzard.com/support/index.xml?gameId=11&rootCategoryId=2318 support website were for.

Ban Type Temporary
Expires 01/27/2009 11:09:54 AM PST
Ban Reason Spamming and trolling
Temporary, one hour cooldown. Repetitive posting after thread locks.

Don't criticize them in a place where they have all the power. Submit criticism to their bosses using the review forms or the email addresses.

If you were getting poor quality service in a store, you wouldn't keep talking to the same person, you'd talk to a manger.

there are no specifics. im confused. what exactly did they ban you for? you never described it, so i believe them and not you... that you were trolling.

What I understood, you talked about a locked thread, or kept it going in another. Locking a thread means that you're not to talk about it, keeping it going or talk about the locking is against the policy. If you're unhappy with the GM, do as Surodat said and go to someone higher up.

OK, let's see:

1. You "contested" the answers they gave and compared them to other industries' CC. Why you would compare between industries is beyond me, to be honest. Each market has different criteria.

2. Admitedly you were getting progressively "harsher" with your criticism of them.

3. You got temp banned for "Repetitive posting after thread locks".

What part of the above course do you find strange?

I have no sympathy whatsoever. It's Blizzard's forum, their rules. If you can't abide by their rules, don't go there. Likewise, posting here will do you no good whatsoever.
