Gold Ads on this site??

I was just visiting the DK forums, and I noticed that there was a banner advertising wow gold.

What happened? I thought this site was strict anti-cheating? I have to admit that I was willing to shrug off the "reported attack site" warnings that I was getting, because this site has been reputable to me for a long time, but with this new Gold Advertising thing, it's making me wonder if something wrong really is taking place here.

No. He means the banner ad at the top of the page. It randomly runs different ads and sometimes a gold ad pops up. All of us here know that this site does not condone gold selling or buying, so we just ignore the ad.
Think of it like /general chat after a patch, it just takes a while for the mods to get it removed.

those ads sometimes slip through and i end up seeing a few. i just ignore it.

No gold ad, but Norton is going nuts here saying that phishing is detected here on the website.
