Anyone else get a BIG FPS drop in these 2 area's?

For the most part, my WoW runs fine.

But I've come across 2/3 area's where I'm pretty much guaranteed a huge drop in frames.
(And I mean the game becomes a slide-show of chaos.)

First area:
Utgarde Pinnacle (tested on Heroic, probably works on Normal).
The boss out on the balcony who puts down the occasional frost spell that takes up half of the hallway.
(You have to fire harpoons at him at certain points.)


Second area:
Azjol Nerub. First boss when the room is cleared and you're fighting the actual boss (not the ads at the start).
I'm pretty sure the FPS starts when his summons the smaller insects which are then AoE'd down by the party.


Third area:
Karazhan. After killing Midnight you head up those stairs and clear the dinner hall of the ghostly mobs. Once again, AoE comes heavily into play.


So there you have it, I've deleted SCT as I thought the constant barrage of information might be causing problems but am still getting the FPS hit in these area's.


Oddly enough, every other area runs fine. (Yes, even Dalaran.)

I don't get any FPS drops at those places, but in Dalaran and SW at day, due waay too many people.

Might be an combination of video settings, like spell effect and something else. Sice lots of spell graphics hits your computer, especially when taking all your screen.
