Thinking of getting WOW i need help?

Well im finaly going to give in and try the offical WOW,i need one simple awnser to my simple question can i just buy the origanal WOW game (no expansions) and play it. (i dont know if there are special servers for this or something) I dont mind that i cant lvl past 60 or i am missing out on races or gear im just not spending that much money on expansions to play it for a month then get bored of it.and also is it easy to set up i went on the wow site seemed complicated.One last thing can i pay every month i dont want them taking money out of my account when im not going to play it.(ill be using pay pal) thanks in advance John.

1, Yes, you can pay every month. Use a game card. If using paypal, you'd have to establish, then cancel a subscription each month to achieve the same thing.

2. Yes, you can just just buy the original and play it. But, buying the warchest might be just as cheap, and you'd get more for the same money.

to the OP: What Mesonm said. There's a version of WoW called the Battlechest that has all of the stuff in it and often it's as cheap as the original version - check that out as your risk no more money starting off and if you stay with WoW you will actually save money.

Ok thank you for this, the battle chest was about the same price now all i have to deal with is the stigma of the game for addiction.

The last time I checked, the forums were an English speaking board and not a chatroom of grade school/highschool setting. It's getting to be a real problem with pepole who write like that and post like that. Then they go and wonder why no one takes them seriously when they are trying to get a job and they wnder why they get negative reactions from people that speak and write normal English because they can't be ubderstood. Is it being lazy? Maybe.

It's a big problem here in the US and it seems so elsewhere.
