i was planning on getting the spear from AV at lvl 51.. but where out numbere 2/1 most of the time.

so wtf.. its pretty crappy if you ask me and really really annoying.

i cant do the PVP quests for there because where so far pushed back we just die as soon as we leave the ressurection place.

consider it payback for horde pwning everywhere else, i had to go thru literally 27 losing WSG matches to get my mount.

Anyway here's some tips:
-level first
-slip around the offense and go for the mine and the obscure towers in the back. when horde is outnumbered that much, alliance tends to go with 30 or 35 people on the offensive

How does the OP know the Alliance characters are 'fags'? The language does not translate <except for 1 word if you put spaces in between> so I don't think anyone was trying to hit on him/her.

I am not an over sensitive person when it comes to PC stuff, but that term is as offensive to gay guys as the N word is to colored folks. BTW the N word is the one that translates from orcish. That was used in chat many times when we were raiding Origamar.

As a gay guy who plays on the Alliance side your comment is very offensive. I am sorry you suck at pvp, but that does not give you license to insult people.

One detail no one mentioned is: just because you're outnumbered at your bracket it doesn't mean that will be the case once you reach a higher av bracket. For example I recently tried av at lvl 59 where alliance outnumbered hordes by 3 to 1. On the other hand when I do av at lvl 80 the exact opposite is true.

There really is no answer for this. Basically Blizzard tells us the following:
1. As long as the server not totally full, you can roll your toon wherever you want to.
2. You can roll whichever faction you choose on said server, whether or not it adds to an unbalance.

The thing I try to keep in mind is do I find getting trounced in AV by the alliance sooooo annoying that I would consider giving up the above freedoms? No, not really. (And I consider the fact that, on my battlegroup, we annihilate them in AB fair repayment.)

The funny thing was, alliance have always held a massive terrain advantage on this map. Despite that, they whined and requested more and more 'map balancing' instead of understanding how to play the map to their advantage (best choke points, flags all in LOS of their guards, inability for horde to get past without getting peppered by all their defensive pve elements, etc).

They dumbed it down as much as possible to the point where alliance/horde wins seemed to balance out. The reason I despise most of the larger maps is because you cant premade them. There is no organisation, barely anyone bothers with a strategy, etc.

Every time they changed it, horde seemed to do worse for a while, then figured out the best way to adjust to the changes. In my battlegroup, alliance actually cried so hard they boycotted AV for the most part until they changed it (was ridiculous to accrue the tokens for a while).

Then, change. 1 minute av queues for a bit. Then horde overcame the changes to a point, and they stopped coming as much again.

I haven't bothered with much pvp in wotlk. If you could premade v premade av, it'd be fun/challenging. It's just a terribad grind otherwise. Hey defend some towers, hey capture and hold some. Hey stop fighting on that god damned road, etcetera.

I love fighting on the road. Plant a pve geared resto shaman on the road, and I can tie up a good 8 alliance players at a time. Fools just don't seem to realize that the juicy, pathetic toy is a sacrificial lamb there to amuse them while everyone else does their job.
