Hey guys,
I'm trying to figure out why my WoW would have crashed right before the Dragonblight cutscene. I didn't get a chance to read the error message, and am attempting to locate where that may be specifically so I can provide more information. I think it may have crashed due to a sound issue, as I see in my SESound.log file around that time that there is a notice WOW requires at least 12 hardware channels to function properly in hardware mode, so it switched itself to Software mode and was requiring 64 channels. Here are my system specs:
Intel C2D E8400 @ 3.6GHz
Gigabyte GA-EP45-UD3R
Sound: Onboard Realtek High Definition Audio
Video: EVGA Geforce GTX-260 216core OC
Memory: 2x2gb DDR2-1000
OS: Windows Vista Business x64
My computer itself does not crash, there are no temperature issues what so ever as well. I have been poking around the logs in the logs folder for WoW and do not see anything specifically relevant to crash information, so I could be looking at the wrong stuff. Can someone steer me into the right direction as to what happened?
Note: I was able to revisit the big dragon and watch the cut scene, so it is at least able to play.
