I can't access mods. I have looked at forums, even utube and have seen a mods button on the login screen. I don't have this. I have even reloaded the game (7 hours) and that did not get that button. Please help me, what do I have to do to resolve this?

you have to have addons in your wow folder for the mods button to appear. all addons need to go in the wow-interface-addons folder.

Thank you for replying. I've created folders as sub directories of the interface folder in each of the four WOW folders that appear in the program files directory but I don't get the button. What do I have to do please?

you shouldn't need to create any new folders. once you download and unzip an addon, just move or copy it into the addons subfolder in the interface folder. how I do it is to make a new folder on the desktop and unzip the addons into this folder. then you can just drop and drag the unzipped files into the wow/interface/addons folder.

I'm confused as to what the four wow folders are that you speak of....
1. Go to <your wow folder>/interface
2. Add a new folder there called addons.
3. put all of your mods (which are themselves in their own folders) into the addons folder.
4. Restart wow from scratch.

ok wow should already have a folder called AddOns (its case sensitive) as when you log in for the 1st time wow installs some of its own "AddOns" there should be about 21 of them, just install your addons inside that folder.
Default location is C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\Interface\AddOns
just a quick question, are you using Windows XP or Vista?
