Right forum?

Anyways, I downloaded the trial version of WoW, and I like it. I'd like to buy an actual copy of the game and start playing. My concern is that I don't know if my characters will be playable. The reason being that the trial is the Lich King, and I only plan to get the Battle Chest (original and Burning Crusade). So my question is: will I be able to use my characters from the Lich King trial once i get the Burning Crusade, or should i just stop working on them for no reason?

I'm not sure if you'll be able to just buy the BC with a Lich King trial. You may have to buy all the way up to the Lich King.

If you could just get the BC, then my wager would be that you couldn't access those characters until you had the Lich King installed.

Although, are you sure it's a Lich King trial? As far as I knew, the BC and WotLK trials were for those who already had existing accounts of an unupgraded manner.

as long as it is not a death night you will still be able to play them with just the original and BC expanshion.

Well, I think it's the LK trial. There are elements of the game that tell me both ways. ex. I can't go to Northrend, but I can get Inscription. Also, when I first open it from my desktop, it says Lick King...But I'm not able to get Dranei or Blood Elves :o

It's a normal trial. Inscription was released with 3.0.2 so anyone could get it, and along with 3.0.2 they had the Lich King opening screen and launcher.
