Hello all :) <--New here

Wondered if someone is able to help me with this, been having it for about 2 years now. When I play World Of Warcraft it immediately starts, and doesn't stop, flickering and flashing, and there is no better way to describe it I suppose. Anyone knows what could be the cause/solution to this? http://i572.photobucket.com/albums/ss167/BackseatConfidential/wowscreenie.jpg

Usually it is faulty drivers for the graphics card, or the graphics card itself is faulty. As per the sticky, system specifications should be included.

Right, kind of forgot about system stuff, its all VERY unimpressive so I usually don't share em'.

Its basically a.. well no clue what brand it is,
the video card is a NViDIA GeForce 7300 GT,
the PC has 512 Ram, its windows XP, DX9.0c, and the other stuff I wouldnt know about. I tried many different drivers over the past months, none made any difference. The thing is: I tried searching all over the place but couldn't find a screenie with similar symptoms, so I decided to make my own post. Kinda unable to use the EU-WoW forums atm because I scratched off the code from the gamecard I bought >.> still waiting for a new one.(so my account is frozen atm) Anyway, sorry bout not including the system specs. Just never bothered to look them up at all.

Well if you've tried lots of Nvidia drivers for the 7 series, it looks likely that the card is faulty to me. Good thing the card is a low grade and cheap thing anyhow then, a decent replacement card to be fitted would be something like the 9600 GT, perticularly the XFX, BFG, or Chaintech ones as they are quality manufacturers with a reputation to protect.

You could try an OS reinstall, which in a few cases can turn out to be the problem, but it'd most likely be the graphics card.

Thanks :)
My father bought that thing when our old one broke down and he said it was quite expensive :P But it never worked correctly, except in the very beginning. Well I might try to buy a new graphics card someday(when I can afford it) but I doubt my PC is worth it. Anyway thanks for the replies<3
