Check to see what the expansion did to your WoW file. For some reason (to do with Vista, maybe?) on some computers a whole new WoW file was created so you end up as I did with one in Program Files and one a stand-alone World of Warcraft file in your C drive. For me that made all my addons unworkable. Talk to Blizzard about it. I don't want to give you advice on how to solve it as I can't really recall what I did but I think I had to take out the Program files one (after getting the addons into the new one) and use the new one and then everything worked properly.

Yeah if you have vista your addons folder has moved to Public>Games>World of Warcraft>Interface>Addons. Copy them over to there and try it.
And as a side note, make sure your addons are up to date. I had a NIGHTMARE with mine when i came back to WoW for WOTLK

I've recently discovered wow matrix for keeping mods up to date. I was wary at first, as it's an executable, but I saw it in a games magazine that I regularly read, so decided to give it a shot.

I have to say that it is extremely useful. It supports loads of mods and all can be updated with a single mouse click. Can also be used to install new mods and remove unwanted ones.

I won't post a link, but just google for it - you'll find it very quickly. I only use XP, so I can't say how it works with vista.

Anyone else use this?

Yes I started to use wowmatrix after ace updater was discontinued. I was just planning to use it until the Ace guys had got the curse updater working properly. But it's perfectly fine on its own and I don't think I'll bother with curse.

Make sure your mods are all up to date as well. That can be a problem.

http://onlinemoneytutor.com/myimages/smile.jpg make sure your addons are up to date first and then do the other stuff
