Let's break this down, shall we?

1. First time poster with a link. Smells a lot like advertising, certainly when he's looking for votes of some kind.
2. Thread double posted (one in the Community Forum I already zapped)
3. Movie clip not even remotely funny, yet described as "I laughed my ass off". It's just too typical. :)

Sorry, but no. I'll leave this one open for discussion, but I was very much torn between deleting it or not...

I didn't have much patience for drive-by's either during my tenure.

Then again, I was the mean one of the group, so I'm probably biased. :tongue:

Yeah, it was a "drive-by" - your term. So what? I can't believe how seriously you take your forum. You can't spare even 30 seconds of being torn away from WOW? It had Wizards in it - you LIKE Wizards! All it took to post was a few bits and bytes. I've played WOW a few times - I can be one of you!! ONE DAY I WILL RULE YOU ALL!!!!!!!!

Okay, it might be time to get off your high horse. The term "drive-by posting" has nothing to do with being taken away from WoW. Heck, this is the Off-Topic forum, not mentioning WoW is technically the purpose here.

"Drive-by posting" is when a member registers just to post a link and then disappears again. Usually advertising and therefore bannable by default, but since I doubt you're a Doritos salesman, I didn't consider it advertising and gave you the benefit of the doubt. Granted, I didn't find the clip at all funny, but posting unfunny things is (somewhat regrettably) not against the rules. Posting stupid and borderline inflammatory replies, on the other hand, is. You have pretty much convinced me that you don't intend to become a valuable contributing member, so I decided to terminate your account.

Yes, we do take our forum very seriously. I believe that is the right attitude to moderate a forum with almost 300k members. Thank you and goodbye.
