Stop putting this crap on these forums.
A new poster placing site links with "gold" in them will have a snowflakes chance in hell of escaping the banhammer.
.... I think I hear it swinging!!

We have Fluffy the murloc with a lot of appetite for idiot gold sellers trying to mask their links in normal threads. The silly pictures they sometimes post are just a wonderful desert.
Now, the good thing is that we have full control over this murloc. So if I set him loose now, I can still command him to... Fluffy? No! Fluffy, not yet! Flu.....
*Mgrlrlrlglblglfll*
Yeah, well, uhm... Full control, that is.
EDIT: 4500th post is a goldseller-owning one, now there's a reason for celebration.

The forums would be much cleaner if you just get rid of those threads instead of leaving all that garbage.

Aw, I missed it, now I'll forever wonder how disturbing the pic really was.

Do you have any idea how the forum looks with all that softdeleted crap? For us mods, they actually look cleaner this way...

Back in the olden days (IE: When I first joined, which was way back when) the mods would just delete the links (usually putting in a murloc like noise in it's place) close the thread and be done with it.
The deleting of the threads is actually new. Mainly stemming from the 'Delete Posts as Spam' feature which allows us to delete unsavory threads and ban unsavory users in one swift stroke.
Those where the good days of DC, R++, toader and OMO. Damn, I miss them. They were awesome additions to the community.

Yeah, time to bring some of those old times back with the non-deletion-but-instead-make-the-damn-goldseller-look-like-more-of-a-moron-than-he-already-is-strategy!

Now that I think about it, if the original posts were as bad as they've been talked about, I wouldn't have even soft-deleted this. This would be given a hard delete.
Most of the times I just hard delete porn crap.
It helps, for me at least, banish the awful images from my mind.

Nah, they weren't that disturbing and definately no porn. The main reason for editing them out was that he spammed them a few times in his post, which made the thread look ugly. They were just weird pics of some geeky kid, might be the poster himself.
