At 11am PST there will be a message saying that maintenance is running long, and that they will try to get everything up by 1pm PST. Then at 1:30pm PST, they will start the servers, slowly, and they'll all crash one by one. After rolling restarts, they'll all be back up and laggy with queues by 4pm PST. Yay!

Back in my all-consuming raiding days, I recall so many times the guild I was in scheduling patch-day raids...

And almost nobody had even checked for mod updates...And, folks were soooo lost.

We killed stuff, but it was hilarious...

We are continuing to perform maintenance on all reams but currently do not have a definite estimate on when the realms will be playable. We will provide another update at approximately 1:00 PDT with further information on when we expect the maintenance to be complete. Thank you for your patience.

guys, I've waited four days for this to download. I've played City of Heroes before so I know it's not my Comp (windows vista) but hell, thats alot of days off my ten trial just downloading these patches. I need help and I don't know what to do...

I tried to check wow's website but the page that has all the info on what to do if u have a problem, is down. Arrruuuggghhhhh!!!!!!!!!!, well I would like to play but I realy just want to get this thing installed so I know I am all see.

Mine doesn't get stuck, it just shuts down the Updater. I can restart it but again it shuts down. Dang.

Heheh, I rarely end up actually getting to start wow on patch days. Usually it's firday-night at the earliest. I'm not talking about server availability either! Just plain Real Life.

So yeah, to the guy on the 10-day trial. You picked a lousy time. It's patch day for a big content patch. Try again next week.

To everyone who'se patcher is stuck on xx%:
The patcher has little to do with the live gameservers (or even the login-servers). The launcher takes care of the version-check and the downloader then downloads from other ppl.
