Well I'm a gamer through and through, and have been hooked on my xbox since getting it a couple of years ago. Throughout those years I've dabbled in a few different games, and every summer (after exams) I go back to WOW - which IMO is the best game ever. Nothing quite gives you the rush of getting new gear or levelling your character etc (as I'm sure you all know!)

Anyways, after my AS Levels this year, I'm gonna be starting WOW up again... I've tried to keep up to date with everything, but somewhere I missed an xp change and something to do with achievements, what else have I missed? And what are they? :embarassed:

Well my main point is to ask the age old question of 'which class to roll', but with a slight twist: I've got some ideas, just need to fill in the blanks!

Basically, my heart says go for a gnome warrior ('cos they are EPIC ), but my friend on Moonglade (the EU server I would play on) has both an 80 warrior and an 80 shaman, and both prefers his shaman and gets to raid etc with his shaman a LOT more... Apparently, on our server shamans and warlocks are like 6% of the population, and so are constantly looked for when raiding or w/e because they are in short supply. So I was thinking about a shaman or a warlock. I played a mage to 32 before, and seemed to slow down somewhat, so am looking for a quick and easy class to solo level, that still offers good possibilites end game. I've tried a rogue and a mage before, and although I think I will return to these characters at some point, I would love to finally achieve the goal and get to level 80. :cloud9:

So, after reading this very, very, very long rambling... does anyone have any ideas at all?

Thanks for all you help, Sam ^^

play what you feel like playing. There is a raid spot for everyone. The most wanted class changes every month.

Play what you think is fun.

Why don't you continue with the mage you rolled before? Mages are as good a class as any for levelling and still get asked for in end game raids. Unless you actually cancelled the account fully it should still exist :)

I'd either stick with the mage (a decent mage is always useful in a raid) or if you deleted it, make a new account and get your friend in moonglade to refer you, and you will both get 3X faster exp
