Please Help Me With Paypal Subscriptions

Hello all,

I am having trouble with Paypal and would like to ask you guys to guide me on this issue. I added a bank account to my Paypal account not too long ago and have transferred enough money to the Paypal account to pay for a 1 month subscription. Keep in mind that I have verified my bank account on Paypal, so that can't be the issue. Nevertheless, when I go to pay my subscription using Paypal, it asks me to add a credit card, but I already have enough funds on the Paypal account, and I was using it as a way to bypass having to use a credit card. Note that my debit card isn't the type of debit card that can act as a credit card. Please tell me what I am doing wrong.

Pay pal support is much faster during banker hours 9-3.
