I recently purchased a orignal wow game and having trouble finding the world of warcraft folder in my computer, I have windows vistas home premium w/service pack one. I went into both folders, program files and program files (x86), its like the folder doesn't exist, I need to find the WTF, CACHE, and INTERFACE folders, please any help is greatly appreciated. :embarassed:

You recently purchased it? Have you installed it already?

If so, did you install it to the default directory, and did you take notice of where this directory was directed to? Have you tried manually typing in the directory name that you used in the initial installation?

Have you tried going to your WoW shortcut, wherever and whatever form it may be in, and accessing its properties to see its command path, and trace that back to the base directory?

I did ask in one of the stickies for threads to be properly named, please read the stickies where you would have been told to avoid generic "help please" titles (because if everyone named thier thread this, nobody would be able to navagate, plain and simple).

ok im so sorry, i spent several days trying to play this game to no avail, wont happen again. Thanks for the reply peace :thumbsup:

Now, have you run through the above questions? They should help to find your folder.

Sounds like you're using 64 bit vista. Vista restricts automated access to files on your C: which makes patching impossible, so normally WoW will ask you to install to a public folder like C:/users/public/games/WoW

Check there.
