Before I begin, if I put this in the wrong place, please move it to the respected area.

DISCLAIMER (PLEASE READ BEFORE VIEWING THREAD)

The views and opinions expressed below are strictly fan fiction and most likely not going to happen. Please enjoy reading my view in an open-minded sense. I encourage constructive criticism and would prefer it. However, please don't flame, and or make uneducated replies such as "Dumb" or "Stupid, you suck." All pictures and ideas are copyrighted by me, all characters, world events, items related to World of Warcraft are trademarked by Blizzard. Thank you, and enjoy!

This is my view on an expansion to World of Warcraft and my ideas on what would be in one.

I will try my very best to keep the thread updated on a daily, to weekly basis, providing pictures for my respected ideas and more exceptional explanations to the common phrase.

I will be making this thread into 5 stages of development.

Skeleton - Beginning thread, and in the middle of adding much, much more.
Foxtrot - Working with descriptive information for my ideas.
Beta - Providing a nice design and welcoming design to the thread.
Alpha - Providing finishing touches on everything.
100% - When I feel I am satisfied with all the info I have described in my expansion.

Current Stage : Skeleton

Backstory

Illidan's Naga were deadly foes born of hate. After Illidan's downfall at the Black Temple the Naga retreated to the land of Lowmeld, another planet under Azeroth, they took shelter there for 10 years before the Lich king's demise. The fallen king forsaw Lowmeld's destruction. While the brave heroes of Azeroth seeked out Arthas, Arthas arrived to Lowmeld. Looking to destroy the planet. The Naga fought off Arthas and the Scourge for about 5 years untill they overthrew Rheighn, took Lowmeld over and sent it to destruction. 4 Peices were left of the rubble known as Lowmeld. 1 peice sent to Azeroth crashlanding in the middle of the ocean south of Northrend. The rest of the 3 descinigrating into space. Now lays Lowmeld, south of Northrend. Controlled by the Naga God, Rheighn. Who was Illidan's first ranked officer in the third war. Rheighn resides in the Chapel of Dark Decent, deep, deep down at Azeroths core planning for it's destruction.

Classes
I will be providing pictures for these classes as well in lator thread updates.
Plus, these are personally my opinion in what these current classes should provide.

CLERIC - MAIL
TANK - DPS - HEALS

Tactics : Prayer : Brainwash
---------------------------
Tactics : Swords, Whirlwind, Spying, Assassinating.
Mainly the warrior spec with a little Rogue thrown into it. So it brings
me to decide that this would the best Tank/DPS spec for this class.

Prayer : Heals, group heals, raid heals, attack heals.
Your main healer class including attack a target which gives heals to all the players attacking that same target. With a great amount of heals including raid heals which heals group by group.

Brainwash : Like priests this includes Mind Control. But more so as
controlling a monster and commanding othe rmonsters to attack the target. Fear, which as you know drives a crows away. Insanity which turns a mob against eachother, Mind Destruction sends a monster on a rampage killing all in site. Maybe you, maybe their other friend.

NECROMANCER - MAIL - Starts at 55
DPS
A Death Knight Mage...To add to the scourgeborn classes.

Dark Arts : Curses : Bone Mastery
---------------------------------
Dark Arts : Ranged Spells, Raining Poison, Death and Decay..
Mainly your ranged DPS deal here, providing the raid with maximum AOE to th fullest with Raining Poison, Death and Decay, and Ranged spells.

Curses : Poison Curse, Decursing, D-Buff Artist, Purify...
Sets numorous curses and d-buffs on the target making them easier to kill as a raid. Purify is a small one man heal just for you, not for being a healer.

Bone Mastery : Bone Sheild similar to a Death knights, but it provides spell power. Raising Skeletons and Transforming into a skeleton makes to temporarily invulnerable. You can raise up to 2 skeletons and send them after your target.

MORE TO COME NEXT WILL BE THE RAIDS...

DISCLAIMER: MUCH OF THE STUFF I'LL MENTION IS INCREDIBLY GENERIC AND ALREADY EXISTS IN THE CURRENT GAME, OR OTHER SIMILAR GAMES HAVE EXACTLY WHAT I'LL MENTION IN MY POSTS.

Also, i'll ask you to make educated replies whilst misspelling/misusing multiple words in my posts. You know, the 'site' of 'numorous' problems... But please, only make edumacatered replies to the banal prechewed stuff i'll be spouting, sure I don't possess a shred of originality but if you validate my borrowed ideas i'll feel really good about it.

CURENT PHAISE: UBERFORXTORTALPHAMEGAZORD.

"please move it to the respected area". No moving, grooving or shaking to be done in areas with less respect than is required for any of the aforementioned moves.

So you don't bother to check which area your post should be in (I see 'fan fiction' and a few other areas that might stick out to you had you looked down a touch). Poor spelling/grammar but asking people to take you seriousseelly.

And ideas that have been hashed and rehashed in games/mmos for years. With new names. I can think up names of places too. Fellanthria. Scourgenlandey. Fwwarthwacker. Jesphescolfph. Rawrland. Kekville.

** A NEW PLANET APPEARS **.

Bliz have a TEAM of people dedicated to class development. Balancing. Backstory. This is like a 10 year olds scribblings on some toilet roll whilst pushing out yesterdays breakfast. If you want to wow people, perhaps something that resembles coherent thought would be more appropriate.

Disclaimer: I'm not a nice person if you don't make the effort whilst demanding people do similar.

Hmm, the OP accidently double posted at first and I removed the thread he requested to be removed, because this one had more information. But the other thread actually had a reply already:Looking forward to seeing your ideas, and welcome to Worldofwar.net :)Yes, that is Maticus who said this.

I bow to you, Trakamoocow, your wittyness, coolness and intellect astounds me. In this day and age of gold spammers and account phishing, why on earth do we need someone posting ideas and suggestions for fun? So, let's all follow your example and act like the popular kid in class, trying to be funny at the expense of a newcomer. I especially love your use of worse spelling than the OP and then actually making fun of his, the witty sarcasm of that is just brilliant!

Let me be the second person to welcome you to the forums, Spop. Don't pay too much attention to the post above, there will always be people like that.

*chuckle* Anyway, yes I had hoped that our community would do us proud and not immediately start throwing things at the newcomer, but meh, there's always one!

Eh, I was about to give it another :effort: reply, but what's the point.

Welcome Spop! Your contributions will be well received here my friend!! Much of what you've posted is insightful, awesome and downright original. Please continue the amazing work.

The real comedy probably comes from your assumption that any spelling 'errors' weren't intentional in the first place snoweeekin. Your prrrerereregoooterative though :afro::kiss::shocked::shocked::tongue::cry::sad::grin:.

I feel time will prove my assessment of this particular gifted individual though. Enjoy.

The guy spelled the word "piece" wrong, forgot a few apostrophes here and there, and uses an awkward sentence structure. Burn him at the stake already. No matter how educated you make yourself sound, you come across even more childish than I thought. Not to mention arrogant.

No matter what I think about the ideas of the OP, whether they are original or not, reactions like yours are uncalled for and in fact just make you nothing more than a bully in my book. It's your good right to find the OP's ideas unoriginal, but there are more constructive ways to make that clear. This forum is not half as newcomer-friendly as it used to be and it just won't be tolerated any further. Save your wits and sarcasm for the spammers.

My problem with this is that I agree with both sides. (Sad, I know.)

Of all people here, I understand how harsh it can be to throw up ideas dear to my heart and then hunker down and wait for the rain of abuse. I respect anyone who tries, and most of the time I try to live by the idea that they deserve what the Society for Creative Anachronism refers to as a "Bardic Free Zone", or a place to express themselves without abuse.

That having been said, there were portions of the op which really put my back up in all the wrong ways. It was if they chose the phrases guaranteed to start this, which means they're naive, or the very bestest of forum trolls. There was also a great deal of pretension there, which was also an invitation for the flaming to start.

I passed over the invitation, but I can see where others might have been too tempted. And yeah...this belongs with all the others, squarely in WoW suggestions. (Not in fan fic, thanks!)

Not very original ideas, yet still posted in a "look what I have here and stay tuned for more" manner. Quite inviting to flame, indeed.

But normally I wouldn't have reacted to this post. I would have "passed over the invitation" as well. That's why Traka's reaction irked me more than the original post. If you don't like the idea or the way it is posted in, try to make that clear in a constructive manner, or just shut up. And his second reaction was just way out of line for me.

the idea for the expansion story is a bunch of weirdness.
if we're going to fight naga, we can just do it in the ocean of Azeroth. A lot of lore has already been written all about the ocean floor, included in the rpg materials.

personally i don't see a cleric using that kind of dark side magic. Props for using mail tho, as we do need another mail using character.

The idea for the necromancer is actually pretty good--very beleiveable and sensible in the context of WoW--but it is also practically the same as the Diablo II necromancer. For that reason I think we can now say for certain that there will not be a necromancer in WoW.

Back to the topic at hand... I always find fan-fiction and expansion ideas really interesting and a fun read. I don't think I could do it myself so I applaud the effort that people like Spop put into this material. So, good stuff and I look forward to hearing more about this new area.

(And alpha does come before beta. To make an analogy... Blizzard does Alpha testing internally and then does a Beta for the players to test.)
