Alliance have had the Frostsabers for ages. Whereas this was a quest that was *about* to get implemented for ages. The trainer was sitting there already in classic.

One can hardly compare a mount that requires a gazillion rep-turnins (http://www.wowwiki.com/Wintersaber_Trainers) and eventually just looks like yet another nightsaber to this "divine" quest to actually grow your own ravasaur.

yeah there's no comparison. the Wintersaber thing is a long horrible grind. kudos to people who did it back then when you might have been in the area anyway. To do it now is a big stupid waste.

why Horde never got an equivalent, i don't know. That don't seem right to me.

I want to see more cool quests like this, it doesn't have to be for mounts. :smiley:
