There's World of Warcraft. Then there's The Burning Crusade (BC), which is the first expansion pack. And Wrath of the Lich King, (wotlk) the second.

with BC you can level till 70 and have 2 new races unlocked blood elfs and drenais's
with WOTLK you can level till 80 and have new class unlocked - Death knight. You have to have BC before getting WOTLK
