Hey, I'm a lvl 15 night elf rogue looking for a leveling partner. I thought about trying to start a new character with a/lots of person/peoples, however after reading a few threads that say all fun is at lvl 80 - I'm mainly interested in getting there [which was my goal in the first place].

I'm looking for somebody who likes to chat while on auto run . . maybe has the sprint feature so I'm not leaving them behind every 3 minutes :D.

Here was an original post that I could never post onto the official forum because i'm still on trial [game's in the mail].

"So I'm looking for a person that will start a new character to basically play the next week nonstop. I have "nothing better to do" and enjoy the game - I have all the in-game guides that I can send [which, according to blizzard, have to be free now anyway], but can't use them myself as I'm still on a 10-day and addons don't seem to work [worked the first time, but won't start up now?]. I have the game in the mail, so that'll be fixed soon.

I'd like to have someone leveling up with me and to have level 70 within a week. I know a lot of people are jaw-dropping and whatnot, but I plan on it being easy.

Even better, I'd like to have multiple people with me so that if one of us needs to log off, the others will be continuing. I take a sit for every six hours I play and grab something to eat, etc.

It'd be great to have someone that could show me how to "get a hundred gold [mining] by level 10" [although, from what I've seen I'm not sure what I'd do with it] and . . someone to chat to. . and all the other benefits of two or mroe knowing each other in this game.

I don't have a lot to say right now except that I'd like to start within the next 2 hours.

Deviating, there are so many ways to keep this fun [marathon, anyone?].

Message soon and we can get it started.

PS: Things I like to talk about include [:p] creating new videogames, masterminds, a new computer I'm building, musical talent, food. . . jokes."

So yeah - you can see what I'm after. In the words of me - let's get it started. . . . in here [haha decided an o-face was inappropriate here. . . unless talking about the brownies I just made? Ice cream is better.].

:ponder::laugh::laugh: Sort of "World of Warcraft meets Match dot Com"

On a more serious note, if you ARE intent on getting to 70 in a week, forget about mining and other professions. You can earn lots of gold mining at level 10, but you would only be able to safely mine copper. So you would have to spend all your time running around the starting area looking for nodes.

Your best tactic is to just concentrate on questing or (if in a group) just killing mobs as fast as possible for experience...no professions, no idle chatter...just grinding to 70.

On the other hand....there are plenty of people who will attest that "all the fun" is in the journey TO 80, not just at 80.

I would like to point out that this was referring to a spam post that has since been removed, and not directed to the post which is now immediately above mine !!
