Hey all, i noob in WoW. I have a few questions about the game World of Warcraft. Please tell me how to buy game money (wow gold), and whether i was banned for purchasing wow gold, will be a punishment from the Blizzard team? To farming i have no time, it is easier to buy WoW gold...
Mod's note: I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt on this one. Gold buying is against the Blizzard ToU and EULA and WILL get you banned. Because of that, we here have to follow Blizzard's rules, and that means no gold ads. Again, benefit of the doubt is being given. Don't post anymore ads for gold selling and all will be well.

Yes, being banned for purchasing wow gold is a punishment from Blizzard. They don't like it and neither do we.
I (and I assume, we also) recommend you play the game the way it's meant to be played and deal with the challenges of it with the tools you are given.
- If you can't kill something you're probably too low level, not doing it correctly or you need a group
- If you can't afford something it's probably something you don't need or you spent your gold on something you don't need before.

Buying gold and powerlevelling are cheating and will almost certainly get you banned for the game. I don't understand why you don't want to play the game yourself, even if you have limited time. If you pay someone for gold or levelling what you're doing in effect is letting someone else do it all for you. What's the point of that? This is a game, to be played by you at whatever rate you have time for, not a sort of spectator sport.

I am going to be straight up with you. Yes, it is against the Blizzard rules and you MIGHT get banned. There are certain websites that provide these services.

Gold buyers don't make any money. They lose money. They also lose their accounts because the gold sellers hack them afterwards. And then Blizzard bans them.
gold buyers = fail (because they are lazy and naive)
gold sellers = fail (because they are lame hackers)

I'm a little puzzled as to why my post had to be edited to remove advertising. If there was any in there, I certainly didn't put it in. I don't do that. :ponder: Why don't you edit the masses of irritating advertising that now clutter up every bit of this forum?

When you quoted the OP, was there a link in there? That's usually what they have to edit out (especially if you quote the OP before THEIR post gets editted)

Nope, no link, so I remain bewildered and a little ticked off.

I edited the post because the quote contained the link originally. When a post is quoted, and then the post is edited, the original edit of the post remains in the quote. I had to edit the quote because it contained the link.
In a sense, I was editing the post you quoted a second time, not the post you made yourself.

OK, thanks. I think I understand  although it's still pretty early in the morning.

To boil it down to its simplest form.
Person A says something bad.
Person B quotes them.
Moderator needs to edit both posts, to remove the naughty material.
Editing the message by person A, won't remove the quoted material from Person's B's message retroactively. It needs to be done manually.

I understand that. But what puzzled me was that I reviewed my post before submitting it specifically to be sure the link was not there and it wasn't. So I went ahead and submitted it.

The link was embedded into a picture that the OP had posted, IIRC.

OP is simply just promoting a gold selling site (wherever that link went to). Its not a lazy player...
But to answer on selling gold is simple. Play the game like its meant to be played.
