hi im new to the game... and im a soloing type...

Is it possible to do all the quests in the game solo? like if i am a high enough level, maybe i could do alot of hard ones?

Also...
Call to Arms: Warsong Gulch Daily PvP quest...
it says its a Battleground match... are their enemy PvP bots in battlegrounds or do i need to find ppl?

Also on Bots..
Lets say I have 2 characters Lets call them A and B

Playing as A i recruited B as a bot...
will B be able to get exp as a bot?
and will I see his new stuff when i log into the game as B?

1. There will always be quests which require friends. Certainly you'll be able to solo quests made for multiple people when you are much higher level than the quest, but remember, there are multiple person quests at maxed level. Also there are quests which require a full raid group to complete, so no, you will not be able to complete them all alone.
2 You queue for battlegrounds solo and are placed together in a battleground with other players. So you don't have to look for anybody, the game does it for you.
3. Bots? Bots are programs in the game which are a. A bannable offense, and are used for farming. I'm not quite certain what you're refering to with this part...

Ahhh... i c... I play on my own private server.. solo...
and their is a guy who in it who lets you recruit your other player characters as bots.. it must be the private servers own lil function... Being new to Warcraft, i didn't know that... i just assumed it was part of the game...

dang it.. so i wont be able to do all quests and stuff on my solo server...oh well if i like it and get bored.. obviously i might have to go on the large servers...

But seeing the quality of most private servers I assume you'll get bored pretty quickly in which case we'll welcome you to the live servers with open arms! :grin:

But remember, a Blizzard run server will have a population of players in the tens of thousands. (My server, Runetotem US, has a population of about 21,000, and I don't think it's a particularly high pop server) There may be some dead zones where there aren't a lot of players leveling, but there are always players online.

Everytime i kill Rageclaw.. your supposed to click on the body and use the item.. Well im left clicking on his body, then right clicking on the item...

Once i start doing it .. his body dissappears.. and then when the bar gets all the way to the end.. it says.. "out of range"

and sometimes his body sinks into the ground.. and my guy says "can't reach it"

how the heck do you do this quest.. or is their a code i can type in to give quest maybe? this is so frusturating... I've been trying it all night..


ETA: I left his body alone once.. (im trying odd stuff)
and if i dont use the item on his body.. it doesnt corpse decay... it stays there for a lil bit..
and my quest info on my screen and in journal still shows this...

i found one a "finishquest (QuestID)" , but it didnt work.. that or i had the wrong ID
something like that could do the trick.. i pressed ~ , i tried in the chatbox.. im at a loss..

im a stickler for each and every quest.. especially since im the only person on my server.. quests are all i can do really..
perhaps i'll move on.. and leave it on the list of 25..

Not being funny mate but we have said we do not discuss private servers here so asking if a PS command will work is a bit dumb seeing as well all play on LEGIT servers.

not trying to be angry mate... but the mod answering me said he plays on a dif server.. or at least sometimes... and if you noticed my last post...

I think i did a pretty good job of dancing around the subjects considering...
and it isnt dumb, like i said , seeing as the mod said he has/or plays on a private server... a console command to fix my issue is kinda harmless...

and notice i said a console command.. like the default game console commands.. not a PS command.. I can get those from where i got the server

but, luckily, i suppose, my post is up to the moderators best judgement...

why do almost all forums always have the 2 or 3 ppl in each thread that dont have anything positive to say, and have to critique and be negative...

im trying to be as honest and helpful as possible... and ppl wonder why trolls do what they do... someone once said, if you dont have anything good to say, dont say anything at all... its makes the world a much more peaceful place :smiley:

i had a problem.. im looking for a solution... and i said i'd just leave the quest for later... so no big deal iv'e already moved on in the game.. and given up on that quest.. for now.. and might have a possible remedy for it..

nah i didnt have a complaint with any servers,

Im a mod on a diff site along with the forums.. and i've been around the block it gets tiresome after awhile... some ppl just can't resist posting

My server has the occasional glitch, the same as every one. What software do I use....obviously I use the Blizzard software, as I play an authorized, paid for account.

No, no console commands. You are at the mercy of your private server. There is a reason why these servers are free. They have little to no support because of it. Blizzard has a legal obligation to provide service because er...they get paid to. Private servers have no obligation to you because they are...illegal. And hey..doesn't it get boring to be the only person on a server, in a game that is designed for 20,000 real life breathing, interacting people?

like i said im a noob to Wow, didn't know that was an official one...Regardless of that you are playing or not playing on private server I think you can discuss wow and find help on wow websites and you can play game but your experience is different from normal servers and this can result to offensives in discussions. By playing on private server you only and only limiting yourself and your game experience. According to lack of players, low speed connectivity, no technical support, many errors and bugs, crashes, risk of deleting or database crash(and than lost of your characters, items, gold, achievements and everything other acquired in game because everything you see and doing while playing wow is stored on server not in your computer and you can't backup or withdraw any data from server) are limiting your gaming experience to lowest possible level and if you want to spend your time to play wow you should join one of wow dedicated servers - those offer everything that game was designed for.
If we don't count technical problems with these servers, on private server your leveling and progressing through the game content will be much harder than on normal server and reaching top content (such as Arena, Battlegrounds, Raiding, or role-playing) is impossible because the server don't have enough players for this. You will not find players who will help you with quests, going with you through leveling/raid instances, or play PVP with you, because wow is designed to be multiplayer game(so-called Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game) not a solo single-player game and that's the reason why WoW is intended to be played by many players at the same time. On our server (Auchindoun PVP-EU) we have approx 12 000 players and I don't think this is highly populated server, but it is well enough to reach all possibilities in game.

Many players from private servers don't understand why they need to buy game time, the reasons are and collected funds are used for:

- Constantly developing new content and software updates
- Maintainance and upgrades for servers and game
- Quarantee of server stability and hi-speed connectivity
- Technical and GM support
- Constantly fixing and working on errors and bugs that occur in game
- Every server has enough population to reach any content in game
- Raiding and PVP experience on level you will never get on private server
- No one will ever delete your characters or everything else obtained in game
- Worldwide support
- And ofc profit for Blizzard and it's employees as they also working to earn money and live from it just like everyone else.

I think this is enough to explain the differences between private and normal servers :wink:.

yeah i knew that goin in when i first dled the server
only problem was, as a noob to wow in general.. i had no idea which thngs were supposed to be part of wow, and which were just server stuff...

i have a real wow question for ya now..
and this has nothing to do withaddons, since i turned em all off right now to see...
you know in the interface.. you can show the names of npcs...
well i like it on.. so i can see their names.. and what their job/duty is..

but when i get close to them.. that txt dissappears and it shows a their name and hp bar and lvl info...

I suspect that many, if not all of us knew the issue - we just didn't want to help because you're doing something we don't agree on and which this website and forum are against.
