I'm new to the forums and also WOW. I've looked everywhere on the forums and cant see anything relating to my question.so my apologys if posted in the wrong section.

I have a warlock and I was able to use a wand with this warlock, that was until last night:embarassed: My wand just stopped working (que jokes) I bought another one and installed it correctly but it still wont work. Can anyone help me get this sorted??? Or has anyone had this problem??

Try openning your spellbook. Look for something like "wand shooting ability" :rolleyes: (it's not called that exactly but you get the point).

Drag that icon down onto your action bar. You probably didn't have your button bar locked and the old "shoot wand" icon got misplaced.

Your wand could be suffering from performance anxiety. :shocked::laugh:

Wands are a bit tricky, but here are the steps to take to make it work:

1) Make sure the wand is equipped in your 'ranged' weapon slot.

2) There should be an icon in the 'General' tab of your spellbook called 'Shoot' or 'Shoot Wand'.

3) Drag the shoot icon to your hotbar.

4) Target an enemy and get within range to use your wand (30 yards iirc).

5) Click the shoot icon in your hotbar.

Your char should begin shooting the mob with your wand.

Ive been there. the shoot icon and your wand icon tend to look very similar. I had my wand icon on the bar. Did the same thing with fishing pole.
