A Bad Case of Sithilus

I dinged 58 at the weekend. Unfortunately it wasnt the "whoopie big burfday" I was anticipating, partly because I had already received a free portal to "Shakkatack" a few levels earlier, partly because there just havent been any decent new hunter skills made available for at least the past 10 levels and 58 continued the trend. Just an upgrade of this and an upgrade of that kind of thing - nothing for me to go "ooh thats good" about....

Just a quickie here; I FINALLY had a reply e-mail from Blizzard about my WoW problems after a 2 week wait of no gaming. I still dont know what went wrong but I could only log in for 2 seconds before being disconnected with my main character. the others were okay (all on the same server).

Blizzard told me to go to my XP network connections and change the baud rate (or something like that) and uncheck a tick box. As simple as that. Now why that should affect only one character, and...

"Day 7 in the Big Brother household" and I still havent heard anything from Blizzard technical support. Dont worry I wont mention it again because I have resigned myself to the fact that they are not going to reply & Im not going to the trouble of sending all the data again. I even tried their support forums but a bigger waste of time I have yet to come across.

So I have decided to take a break from WoW. Im pretty cut up about it & know the problem wont solve itself...

I sent a web support form to Blizzard on Wednesday night about my log in issues. Still waiting to hear back from them I decided to try again but I still cant log in as Chunderpants for longer than a couple of seconds...however I did manage to log in with my alt warrior last night but....

oh oh; whats this? My main hand sword - a blue - is missing and replaced with a big red question mark. Also missing are my shoulder pads and gloves. Now Im not stupid enough to have sold these items...

Over the past few weeks Ive been having a problem where Im merrily playing about and all of a sudden I get disconnected. I reconnect and continue but it may happen as many as six times in 30 minutes. It may happen more but I quit at this point before the PC goes flying onto the neighbours car roof.

I figured it was my ISP or router but the drop in connection must be a fraction of a second because as soon as I look its back up again.

Then last night I went to log in....
